I’m a previous customer of a replacement garage door and opener, and was highly satisfied with the quality of work, product and competitive price. As a 21 year resident of our neighborhood, retired military and senior citizen, many of my housing association neighbors routinely request my advice on hiring local home repair companies. Today my garage door was damaged and the company sent out a repairman. The needed repairs were minor and the representative completed the work in no time. I was subsequently charged $400 for 30 minutes of work (or $800 an hour). I understand the work was done on a Sunday and employers have to pay employees more on weekends. However $400 is not only excessive, it’s stealing! I can no longer in good conscience recommend Precision Garage Door to my hundreds of HOA neighbors or friends in the local area!

Many years of service & support from Precision, others before them. After Precision, I will NOT go back to previous garage door company or anyone else. Response is timely, communication is A+++++++++, including any delays or early arrival. Stephen, our service pro, was thorough, presenting additional findings aside from reason for the call. He presented quote for recommended services & repairs, but did not ‘push’ additional items, informing only, & letting me decide. Quick, quality service from Precision Garage Door Service. I had previously used Overhead Door in Colorado Springs and was generally satisfied, although maintenance and repair costs were fairly high. When a spring broke on our two-car garage door, the door became impossible to open — even manually. I decided to explore other garage door companies in town and scheduled an appointment online through Precision’s website on Sunday. By 8:30 Monday morning, Brian S. arrived right on time. He performed a thorough inspection and clearly explained the repairs that were needed. In just over an hour, he replaced both springs, the track rollers, and the end bearing plates. The difference was immediate — the door now operates much more smoothly and quietly. Very professional experience from start to finish. Precision Garage Door has earned my business for future repairs and eventual opener upgrades.

Unfortunately I am not overly pleased with your company, being I strongly believe I was over charged for the repair service that was done on my garage door. The price I was quoted was about 650, but did get about a 30 dollar discount with a total bill of 620 after all was said and done. Based on my research to have the bearings and a coil spring replaced should run around 300 to 450 depending on the door. Being mine is very basic, I would believe it would be on the lower end of the scale. So as previously stated I do feel I was considerably over charged for this service. My fault for sure not getting an up front quote prior to the service person arriving at my home. Lesson learned for sure! I will definitely let others know to shop around before selecting a company to do this type of work.

Corey is a consummate professional! He replaced a broken coil spring and emphasized how important it was that both could be of same rating in pounds (a mistake that another prior repair serviceman had not brought to our attention and which likely was cobbled together in the prior repair) Corey replaced cables and spools and rollers to the point where our door appears "new". Honest, professional, and courteous...Precision Door is all that one needs!

It pays to advertise. I contacted Precision after I couldn’t locate a previous provider and I’m glad I did. I called them at about 4:30 when I had a problem and an actual person answered the phone. The call was handled professionally and with concern, Sean (great young man) arrived around 6:00 explained what needed to be done and quickly rebuilt the old door to like new. I hope I never have to call them again but I certainly will if I have another garage door problem. This is a great service minded company.

We chose Precision because my husband had heard good things about the company. We were absolutely not disappointed. Stephen Zerkel arrived with a smile on his face that never ended. We kind of threw him for a loop in asking if he could do more work on the garage than anticipated. He said he could do it immediately, which worked perfectly for us. He ended up doing a partial rebuild and replaced the operator. He worked efficiently and was done in no time. He was truly a delight and Precision is lucky to have him.
